ENABLE Conservation Act of 2025

This bill makes it easier for farmers to sign up for a government program that pays them to take environmentally sensitive land out of farming and use it to restore wildlife habitats that states consider a high priority. It permanently allows farmers to use a simpler sign-up process for enrolling their land in this wildlife habitat effort, called the State Acres for Wildlife Enhancement initiative. The bill also lets the Department of Agriculture waive a limit on how much farmland in a county can be enrolled in the program, as long as the county government agrees to the waiver.
