Pay Our Troops Act of 2026

This bill would make sure military members get paid during a government shutdown in 2026. It would provide money to pay active duty military personnel, including reserves, and also cover civilian workers and contractors at the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security who support those military members. The payments would continue until either Congress passes a regular budget or until January 1, 2027, whichever comes first.
