Medical Laboratory Personnel Shortage Relief Act of 2025

This bill aims to help address a shortage of medical laboratory workers in two main ways. First, it makes medical laboratory professionals eligible for a federal program called the National Health Service Corps, which offers scholarships and help paying off student loans in exchange for working in areas that need more health care providers. Second, it allows the Department of Health and Human Services to give grants or contracts to hospitals, schools, and nonprofits to create education programs that train and certify medical laboratory professionals.
