RRLEF Act of 2025

This bill sets up rules to limit how law enforcement agencies deal with certain gun dealers. It requires the ATF to let police agencies know if a gun they transferred ends up being connected to a crime, and it requires the ATF to publish a yearly list of licensed gun dealers who have a high number of guns traced to crimes within three years of being sold. State and local governments that receive certain federal justice grants would not be allowed to buy guns from or transfer guns to dealers on that list. The bill also removes restrictions on the ATF's ability to share gun tracing information.
