Wildfire Insurance Coverage Study Act of 2025

This bill requires the Government Accountability Office to write reports about wildfire risks and insurance. The reports must cover trends in wildfire declarations, how people try to prevent wildfires, state and federal wildfire programs, and whether the country needs a national wildfire risk map. The reports must also look at how much wildfire insurance costs for homes and businesses, how states respond to rising insurance costs, and what makes it hard for private companies to offer wildfire insurance.
