To amend the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 to provide for additional activities, resources, and data collection with respect to English learners, and for other purposes.

This bill changes the English Language Acquisition program, which helps students who are learning English, including immigrant children, improve their English skills and do well in school. It lets organizations that receive grant money use those funds for new purposes, like helping English learners and their parents access legal, educational, financial, and social services in their native language, and giving teachers training on how to work with students from different cultural backgrounds. The bill also requires these organizations to report more detailed information to their state education agencies, including data broken down by disability status, ethnicity, race, and native language of English learners.
