It’s About Time Act

This bill would change when the federal government's fiscal year runs. Currently, the federal fiscal year goes from October 1st to September 30th. Under this bill, starting in 2027, the federal fiscal year would instead run from January 1st to December 31st, matching the regular calendar year.
