Geothermal Gold Book Development Act

This bill requires the Department of the Interior to create standard rules and guidelines for geothermal energy leasing and permitting on federal land. These rules must be added to an existing government publication known as the "Gold Book," which currently covers oil and gas development, and the book must be renamed to reflect the addition of geothermal information. The Department must publish an updated version of the Gold Book within 270 days and review it every five years to make sure it stays up to date.
