Physical Therapist Workforce and Patient Access Act of 2025

This bill makes changes to help more Americans access physical therapy services. It allows physical therapists to join the National Health Service Corps, a program that helps place health professionals in areas that need them most. The bill also lets rural health clinics and federally qualified health centers provide physical therapy services that Medicare will cover. Additionally, it increases funding for 2025 and requires some of that money to go toward helping physical therapists pay back their student loans if they participate in the loan repayment program.
