National Gun Violence Research Act of 2025

This bill aims to increase research on gun violence in the United States. It would remove certain restrictions on how gun-tracking data can be used by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and it would allow the Department of Health and Human Services to spend money on studying gun violence. The bill would also create a new National Gun Violence Research Program and provide competitive grants to support research into the causes, effects, and prevention of gun violence.
