No Retaining Every Gun In a System That Restricts Your Rights Act

This bill changes the rules about what happens to gun sale records when gun dealers go out of business. Currently, when a gun dealer closes, they must give all their records of gun sales to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. This bill would remove that requirement, so closing gun dealers would not have to turn over their records. The bill also requires the Bureau to destroy all the out-of-business records it has already collected from gun dealers.
