Pay Our Military Act

This bill would make sure military members and certain Defense Department workers still get paid during a government shutdown in fiscal year 2026. It covers active duty military, reserves doing training, and civilian employees and contractors who support them. For the Coast Guard, it includes their civilian workers when the Coast Guard isn't part of the Navy. The payments would continue until either Congress passes a budget or until January 1, 2027, whichever comes first.
