To provide for continued operation of the Coast Guard in the event of a lapse in appropriation.

This bill would give the Coast Guard money to keep operating if Congress doesn't pass the regular budget on time. The Coast Guard would get enough funding to run for up to 30 days or until Congress passes a new budget, whichever happens first.
