Keep the Heat On Act of 2025

This bill makes sure the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) keeps running during a government shutdown in 2026. LIHEAP gives money to states, tribes, and territories to help low-income households pay for heating and cooling. If the government shuts down in 2026, this bill would let LIHEAP continue making payments at the same rate as the same month in 2025.
