Hiring Preference for Veterans and Americans With Disabilities Act

This bill lets states and local governments give preference when hiring election workers to veterans, people with disabilities, and the spouses or dependents of military members who live outside the area. It also says that states and local governments cannot turn down a military spouse or dependent for an election worker job just because that person does not live in that state or local area.
