Healthy Meals Help Kids Learn Act of 2025

The Healthy Meals Help Kids Learn Act of 2025 would permanently increase the money the federal government pays schools for lunch and breakfast programs. Starting November 1, 2025, schools would get an extra 45 cents for each lunch they serve and an extra 28 cents for each breakfast they serve through these programs. These extra payments would go up each year starting July 1, 2026, to keep up with rising costs.
