PASS Act of 2025

This bill stops people and companies from China, Russia, Iran, or North Korea from buying or investing in U.S. farmland and agricultural companies. The President can make exceptions if they decide it's important for national security. The bill also puts the Agriculture Secretary on a committee that reviews foreign investments and requires a report about risks from foreign purchases of U.S. farm businesses.
