Recruiting Families Using Data Act of 2025

This bill requires states to create plans for finding and matching foster and adoptive families with children who need homes. The plans must help make foster placements more stable, increase placements with relatives, and make sure the types of families available match what children in foster care need. The bill also requires a federal office to collect and report information each year about foster and adoptive families, including how many there are, their backgrounds, and what challenges they face in becoming foster or adoptive parents.
