Federal Supervisor Education Act

This bill requires federal government agencies to create training programs for supervisors. The training must cover how to set performance goals for employees, employee rights, and what personnel practices are not allowed. New supervisors must complete this training within one year of being appointed and then repeat it every three years. The Office of Personnel Management will create rules for this training and provide guidance on what skills supervisors need to effectively manage employees. Agencies must evaluate their supervisors based on this guidance.
