BEACH Act of 2025

The BEACH Act of 2025 continues a government program through 2029 that gives money to states and local governments to test water quality at public beaches and tell people when the water is unsafe for swimming or other activities. The bill expands this program to also fund efforts to find out what is causing water contamination, test shallow waters upstream from beaches, and monitor contamination directly on beaches themselves.
