District of Columbia Government Title Equality Act

This bill would change the titles of elected officials and offices in Washington, D.C., to match the titles used by state governments. Under the bill, the Mayor would be called the Governor, the Council would be called the Legislative Assembly, and the Chairman of the Council would be called the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly.
