Improving Police CARE Act

This bill requires a part of the Department of Justice called the Bureau of Justice Assistance to create standards for trauma kits — emergency medical supply kits — that police departments can buy using certain federal grant money. It also requires the bureau to publish guidelines on how law enforcement agencies should use, set up, and maintain these trauma kits.
