Prevent Government Shutdowns Act

This bill would automatically provide temporary funding to keep the government running if Congress hasn't passed a budget before the new fiscal year starts. The funding would continue at the same levels as the previous year for programs that were already being funded. The bill also restricts official travel, limits when Congress can take breaks, and prevents lawmakers from considering non-budget legislation until they finish the budget process.
