Fight Illicit Pill Presses Act

This bill updates the rules for machines used to make pills, like tablet-pressing and capsule-filling machines. It requires more people — including sellers and deliverers — to keep records and report transactions involving these machines, and it expands the rules to cover key parts of the machines, like the molds and stamps used to shape and mark pills. The bill also requires these machines and their key parts to have permanent serial numbers. Finally, it makes it a crime to remove or change those serial numbers, or to move, sell, or possess these machines or parts if you know the serial numbers have been tampered with.
