Veterans HOPE Act

This bill requires the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to look into the deaths of all veterans who died from opioid overdoses over the past five years, specifically those veterans who had received VA hospital care or medical services in the five years before they died. The VA must then put together a report on what it found and make that report available to the public.
