Pay Our Capitol Police Act

This bill would make sure U.S. Capitol Police officers and support staff get paid during a government shutdown in fiscal year 2026. It covers salaries, overtime, hazardous duty pay, bonuses, and benefits for officers who must work during a shutdown and civilian employees who support them. The bill also covers payments to contractors who provide support to the Capitol Police during a shutdown, and the funding would last until either new budget laws are passed or September 30, 2026.
