Beef Origin Labeling Accountability Act

This bill tells the U.S. Trade Representative to figure out how to bring back mandatory country-of-origin labeling for beef in a way that follows World Trade Organization rules. Country-of-origin labeling requires stores like grocery stores and supermarkets to tell customers where certain foods come from. The Trade Representative must write a report to Congress about their progress and give recommendations for any needed laws. The bill also directs the Trade Representative to talk with Canada and Mexico to resolve trade disputes about beef labeling.
