Student Veteran Work Study Modernization Act

This bill would have the Department of Veterans Affairs set up a five-year test program that lets more student veterans take part in the work-study allowance program. Under this bill, veterans going to school or in training programs would qualify if they are enrolled at least half-time, rather than needing to be full-time students.
