WHO is Accountable Act

This bill would stop the U.S. government from using federal money to join the World Health Organization or give money to the WHO until certain conditions are met. The State Department would need to confirm that the WHO has made specific changes, including reforming how it provides humanitarian help, not being controlled by the Chinese Communist Party, giving Taiwan observer status, and stopping work on topics like climate change, abortion access, and gender identity. The bill also requires certification that the WHO is not involved in covering up China's response to COVID-19.
