Fracturing Responsibility and Awareness of Chemicals Act of 2025

This bill changes rules about hydraulic fracturing, also known as fracking, to help protect drinking water. It gives the Environmental Protection Agency the power to guard underground water sources, like wells, from pollution that fracking might cause. The bill also requires companies to share what chemicals they plan to use and what chemicals they actually use during fracking. In a medical emergency, companies must reveal their secret chemical formulas to the government, doctors, or nurses if asked, even without confidentiality agreements in place.
