Increasing Access to Lung Cancer Screening Act

This bill requires Medicaid, Medicare, and private health insurance to cover annual lung cancer screenings without requiring prior authorization for people who meet certain screening guidelines. It also expands Medicaid coverage for tobacco cessation counseling and medications to all people, not just pregnant women. The Department of Health and Human Services must educate the public about lung cancer screenings, and the Government Accountability Office must study who gets lung cancer and suggest ways to improve screening programs.
