Apex Area Technical Corrections Act

This law requires the Department of the Interior to give Clark County, the city of North Las Vegas, and the Apex Industrial Park Owners Association permission to use certain federal land in Nevada to build roads, utilities, and other infrastructure connecting to an industrial park called the Apex Project. It speeds up the federal approval process for expanding the park's infrastructure, including things like electric power, water, gas, phone, railroad, and highway connections. The law also says that the land transferred for the project can never be opened up for other public uses like mineral leasing, changing a previous rule that only blocked those uses for 12 years. Additionally, if minerals are dug up during construction work at the site, they can be sold without the usual limits on how much can be sold or for how long.
