Disarm Hate Act

This bill would add new groups of people to the list of those who are not allowed to have or receive guns. Specifically, it would make it illegal for someone to buy, own, ship, or carry a firearm if they have been convicted of a misdemeanor hate crime or received a harsher sentence for a misdemeanor because it was classified as a hate crime.
