Information Quality Assurance Act of 2025

This bill would require the Office of Management and Budget to update the rules that federal agencies follow when they use or share important information — specifically, information that could have a big effect on public policies, public statements, or private business decisions. Agencies would have to use the best available facts and evidence when creating new rules or guidance, and they would need to publicly share the key facts and sources they used in making those decisions. The bill also requires agencies to give the public a chance to comment on the important factual information the agency relied on.
