WaterSMART Access for Tribes Act

This bill lets the Department of the Interior reduce or eliminate the money that Indian tribes normally have to pay for certain water grants and agreements. The Interior Department can do this if they decide that requiring the tribe to pay would cause financial hardship. These grants and agreements help tribes plan, design, or build water management improvements or carry out water-related activities.
