911 SAVES Act

This bill requires the Office of Management and Budget to classify public safety telecommunicators as protective service workers within 30 days of the bill becoming law. Public safety telecommunicators would be placed in this category under the Standard Occupational Classification system, which is the federal system used by government agencies to sort workers into job categories for collecting and reporting data.
