Ensuring Veterans’ Final Resting Place Act of 2025

This bill changes the rules about burial benefits for veterans. Currently, if a veteran's family gets an urn or commemorative plaque from the Department of Veterans Affairs, they cannot also get a headstone, marker, or burial at a national cemetery. The bill would allow families to receive both an urn or plaque and still get a headstone, marker, or burial at a national cemetery.
