Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2027

This bill extends special trade benefits for countries in sub-Saharan Africa through December 2028. Under these benefits, most products from 32 eligible African countries can enter the United States without paying import taxes, including certain clothing items. The bill also allows refunds for import taxes that were paid on eligible African products that entered the U.S. after September 30, 2025, if people request the refunds from U.S. Customs within the rules outlined in the bill.
