Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2027

This bill provides temporary funding for federal agencies starting October 1, 2026, and lasting through December 11, 2026, or until full spending bills are passed, whichever comes first. Most programs would keep getting the same amount of money they received the year before, but some programs — like WIC (a nutrition program for women, infants, and children), disaster relief, and small business loans — get special funding adjustments. The bill also extends a number of expiring programs related to things like flood insurance, transportation, veterans benefits, housing, and trade agreements with certain countries. Additionally, it blocks certain federal regulations from taking effect, continues a freeze on pay raises for Members of Congress and some senior officials, and provides payments to the families of two Members of Congress who died while serving.
