Dalles Watershed Development Act

This bill requires the Forest Service to transfer about 150 acres of land in the Mount Hood National Forest in Oregon to the City of The Dalles, Oregon, for free, as long as the city asks for it within one year of the bill becoming law. The transfer would be done through a type of deed called a quitclaim deed and must respect any existing rights others may have on the land. The city would be responsible for paying all costs related to the transfer, including the cost of surveying the land to determine its exact boundaries.
