Justice for Breonna Taylor Act

This bill bans no-knock warrants, which are warrants that let law enforcement enter a building without first announcing who they are and why they are there. It requires federal law enforcement officers to announce who they are and why they are there before carrying out a warrant. State and local law enforcement agencies that receive money from the Department of Justice would also have to follow this same rule when entering a building to carry out a warrant.
