Child Predators Accountability Act

This bill changes federal laws about child pornography crimes. Currently, the laws make it illegal to use or force a minor to participate in sexually explicit conduct to create or broadcast images. The bill expands these laws to also make it illegal to use or force a minor to be shown in such images. The bill also says that a minor is considered to be participating if they appear in these images, even if they are not actively taking part in the sexual conduct.
