Combat Veterans Pre-Enrollment Act of 2025

This bill requires the Department of Veterans Affairs to create a program that lets certain combat veterans sign up for VA health care before they leave military service. The program is for service members who served in combat areas during wars after the Persian Gulf War or fought hostile forces after November 11, 1998. Veterans can choose to pre-enroll in VA health care during the 180 days before they separate from active duty. The VA must work with the Defense Department and Homeland Security to set up this enrollment process, and Congress will receive updates on the program's progress.
