SAVE Moms and Babies Act of 2025

This bill would stop the FDA from approving any new drugs designed to end pregnancies. For drugs that are already approved for ending pregnancies, the bill adds new rules. These drugs could only be given with a prescription and would require the doctor to give the drug in person rather than allowing patients to pick it up elsewhere. Doctors would need special certification to prescribe these drugs, couldn't also act as the pharmacist dispensing them, and would need to be able to perform surgery if needed. The bill would also cancel any special research permissions the FDA has already given for these types of drugs.
