Ensuring Children Receive Support Act

This bill changes the rules about passports for people who owe more than $2,500 in child support. Right now, the State Department can choose whether or not to take away someone's passport in that situation, but this bill would require the State Department to take it away. The bill also gives the State Department official authority to issue a short-term passport to those individuals so they can travel back to the United States.
