Federal Program Integrity and Fraud Prevention Act of 2026

This bill says that people who are convicted of certain fraud-related crimes — like identity theft, mail fraud, computer fraud, or stealing federal funds — cannot receive federal contracts, grants, loans, or other financial assistance for three years. Their names must be added to a government list that tracks people who are banned from getting federal awards. The Department of Justice must tell the General Services Administration when someone is convicted so they can be added to the list, and federal agencies, including the military, must follow this ban. Agencies can make exceptions, but they have to notify Congress if they do.
