Medal of Honor Act

This law raises the monthly special payment given to living Medal of Honor recipients. It also says that if the payment amount was already increased during a given year, it cannot be raised again that same year for inflation. Finally, for veterans living in Medicaid-funded nursing homes who have no spouse or child, the law extends a rule that limits their pension to $90 per month, pushing that limit from November 30, 2031, to January 31, 2033.
