SHIELD Against CCP Act

This bill requires the Department of Homeland Security to create a working group focused on security threats from the Chinese Communist Party. The working group must study and report each year on how the Chinese Communist Party uses the U.S. immigration system, economic and trade practices, and supports illegal financial activities and drug trafficking. The Department of Homeland Security must also research new technologies to better detect these threats, and the working group will end after seven years.
