Ending Importation of Laundered Russian Oil Act

This bill would ban the import of energy products made at any refinery that uses crude oil from Russia. Current law already blocks certain Russian energy products from being imported into the United States, and this bill expands that ban to cover products from any refinery around the world that processes Russian crude oil. The President could end this ban only if Russia agrees to pull its forces out of Ukraine, stops fighting there, poses no immediate military threat to NATO members, and recognizes the right of the Ukrainian people to freely choose their own government — and Congress would have the ability to reject that decision.
