Veterans Health Care Freedom Act

This bill creates a three-year test program that lets veterans enrolled in VA health care choose from more health care providers, including VA hospitals, community care providers, and other approved providers. The program removes some current rules that limit where veterans can get care. After four years, these expanded choices become permanent, and veterans will be able to visit any VA medical facility even if it's not in their usual VA service area.
