Jobs Now Act of 2025

This bill tells the Department of Labor to run a two-year pilot program that gives grants to local governments or community groups. These grants help them keep current employees, hire new people, or train workers for jobs that serve the public. At least half of the grant money must go toward keeping employees who would lose their jobs because of budget cuts. The Department of Labor should encourage grant recipients to focus on helping veterans, people with disabilities, people getting unemployment benefits, or workers who lost their jobs.
